Education and Recruitment Division Vision:

To shape our industry’s future by attracting and nurturing top talent through innovative education and recruitment initiatives. Our commitment is to build a highly skilled workforce that supports the growth and excellence of our organized contractors, ensuring MCA Detroit remains a leader in the industry.

Education and Recruitment Mission:

Our mission is to advance the industry by providing comprehensive support in training center administration, contractor professional development, recruitment initiatives, and grant management.

MCA Detroit’s Contractor Professional Development (CPD) Program offers a range of industry-specific courses taught by leading professionals, from across the nation! Similar to MCAA, our objective is to provide continuous, advanced education and training to support both individuals and company growth within the mechanical contracting industry.

Each quarter will offer 5 CPD courses that target 4 different levels within your business: Leadership, Office, Field, and Health & Safety

MCA Detroit partners with the Local 98 and Local 636, as well as several community organizations to seek out and recruit the industry's next top talent!

Training Center Administration

At MCA Detroit, we are proud to lead the way in advancing the construction industry through collaborative partnerships and cutting-edge initiatives. By jointly administering industry training centers, we empower professionals and apprentices alike with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. Through flagship programs such as the Excellence Exchange (X2), Industry Sector Technical Competency (ISTC) classes, ISO Certification, Accreditation, and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee, we are committed to cultivating excellence across all levels of the workforce.
